Ratings News: Rating for C.M. Punk edition of Raw is in; did new cast of stars hold serve? (w/Keller's Analysis) Jul 1, 2008 - 4:48:04 PM
Last night's edition of WWE Raw headlined with C.M. Punk defending his newly won World Hvt. Title against JBL drew a 3.51 rating, down from last week's 3.7 rating (counting only the usual two hour slot). The rating two weeks ago was 3.4, and before that it was even lower.
The first hour drew a 3.43 rating and the second hour a 3.43. It was the no. 1 watched show among 18-49 year old viewers during the first hour and no. 2 in the second hour. It was also no. 1 and no. 2 for M18-49 for the respective two hours.
Keller's Analysis: Good number. It's above the rating of two weeks ago and an acceptable drop from last week's draft special. Next week's rating will be telling since it's the first show after the positive buzz-generating changing of the guard edition of Raw last night.
