8/31 WWE in St. Louis, Mo.: Full Raw and Smackdown taping results including final Unforgiven hype Sep 1, 2008 - 2:13:51 PM
WWE Raw House Show
August 31, 2008
St. Louis, Mo.
Report by Darrin Lilly - PWTorch subscriber since 1993
I have been a Torch subscriber since 1993. I attended last night's WWE Supershow here in St. Louis. Here are the basic results for this week's Raw and Smackdown tapings. First the Raw results:
RAW TAPING
Randy Orton came out (wearing a sling) for a promo and said how Raw has gone down since he left. He ran down all of the champions. C.M. Punk came out and they had a verbal exchange. Orton left, but JBL, Kane and Batista came out. Batista speared everyone.
(1) Kofi Kingston beat Charlie Haas (who was dressed as John Cena)
Backstage, Randy Orton slapped Cody Rhodes because he and Ted DiBiase allowed their belts to be taken
(2) Mark Henry won an ECW battle royal over Fit Finaly, The Miz, Chavo Guerrero, and Matt Hardy
(3) Jamie Noble (with Layla) beat William Regal
(4) Candice Michelle & Kelly Kelly & Mickie James beat Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall & Katie Lea when Candice pinned Beth. Lots of botched moves from Candice, which will likely be edited.
(5) Santino beat D-Lo Brown
(6) Miz/Morrizon wrestled Cryme Tyme to a no contest when DiBiase and Cody immediately jumped Cryme Tyme and took their belts back
(7) Kane won a Battle Royal over Punk, JBL and Batista. Orton was at ringside. Punk spit water in Orton's face. Rey Mysterio returned and took the fight to Kane.
Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels came out for a contract signing. Another great segment from these two. Michaels beat up Lance Cade afterwards. It's not obvious where Michaels got hurt.
SMACKDOWN TAPING
Triple H started the show with a promo. He was eventually attacked by MVP, Shelton Benjamin and THE Brian Kendrick. Jeff Hardy made the save.
(1) R-Truth beat Bam Neely
Undertaker promo. He vowed to send Vickie Guerrero to hell.
(2) Shelton Benjamin beat MVP
(3) Maryse beat Maria. Michelle McCool and Maryse had a staredown afterwards.
(4) THE Brian Kendrick pinned Jeff Hardy
(5) Super Crazy beat Ryan Braddock. Kozloff came out and threw out Super Crazy. He asked for bigger competition and Big Show came out. Vickie Guerrero stopped them and demanded that they both leave. Super heat for Vickie. She said that she would not be intimidated by The Undertaker and demanded an apology from him on Sunday.
(6) Brie Bella beat Victoria
(7) Triple H beat The Great Khali in a lumberjack match with the scramble participants at ringside. Jeff Hardy kept saving Triple H from a beating at the hands of the other lumberjacks. After the match, Hardy gave Triple H the twist of fate.

TIPS FOR SENDING IN HOUSE SHOW REPORTS
If you attend an arena event in future, either house shows or TV tapings, we encourage you to send us a report for publication. You can direct your reports to pwtorch@gmail.com.
We accept reports in any format, but if it's not much trouble, please format your report like you see above, with the matches numbered like this (1) , (2) , (3) , with the opening line of each match paragraph stating who beat whom (don't just say Wrestler A vs. Wrestler beat with the result listed later; instead, state up front who won so those readers who don't have time to read the entire report (i. e. their boss walks past their cubicle all the time looking beat their shoulder) can at least quickly assess the results.
Also, please list tag teams using the & symbol as opposed to stating and. Reserve use of and when listing results in a three-way or four-way match where there are no teams (i. e. Wrestler A beat Wrestler B and Wrestler C in a three-way match ) so it is easy to differentiate a handicap match from a three-way match.
If you know HTML coding for bolding, you can also bold out the first line of each match description. If you don't know HTML symbols, then we can add those ourselves.
Special thanks to everyone who helps us with reports on live events!
Send feedback on this article to pwtorch@gmail.com and we'll regularly publish reader feedback in the "Torch Feedback" category on the Main Listing.
