After the Raw crew and some members of the Smackdown and ECW crews get a weekend off following the "Tribute to the Troops" tour of Iraq and the remaining SD/ECW wrestlers finish their weekend house show tour of South Carolina, all WWE wrestlers will be present in Philadelphia on Monday night for Raw.

The three-hour Raw, with 10,000 tickets sold, will feature the 2008 Slammy's Award show along with three PPV main event-level matches six days prior to the Armageddon PPV, which isn't quite sold out. WWE broadcaster Jim Ross predicts some hurt feelings on Monday night.

"I am most interested to see how the wrestling Slammy's are distributed Monday night and to see who gets a boo-boo face if they don't win," Ross said on jrsbarbq.com. "Good grief, it's just an award that doesn't carry the credibility of headlining a PPV and especially year to date earnings."

Ross said he has never won a Slammys award before, but in the "announcer of the year" category, he would be happy to see Matt Striker pick up the win.

"I'm all for Matt Striker winning the announcer of the year award which would accelerate Tazz's dislike toward the rookie broadcaster," Ross said. "It makes Tuesdays more interesting hearing those two debate on occasion."

In his latest blog, Ross also comments on the Tribute to the Troops show, recent attendance figures, and Vladimir Koslov reportedly improving in the ring. Link: Ross blog.
