WWE World Hvt. champion John Cena was recently interviewed by his dad, John Cena, Sr. a/k/a Johnny Fabulous to discuss hot topics in wrestling following his return from surgery at the Survivor Series PPV in Boston last month.

Cena says he's happy to be back working after being "pissed off" more than anything else when he was injured at Summerslam earlier this year.

"I really want to take my hat off to Kevin Dunn and the whole production crew. They can make something as simple as a guy coming back to his work as epic as it was," Cena said on the Who's Slamming Who podcast. "I just wanted to come back. I don't like not working."

Cena was asked about the direction young wrestlers should take if they want to learn how to become successful wrestlers. Cena said the key, especially if they want to jump to WWE one day, is learning the performance aspect of wrestling and not necessarily how to do flips and dives and tons of highspots.

"If your goal is to be a performer for WWE, then people would have to take a different avenue," Cena said. "We don't believe in rasslin' or suicide shows. It is a TV show, so we have to write the TV drama into it."

Cena, Sr., who will be managing John Walters on a March show in Danbury, Ct. up against Ric Flair's son, Reid, asked Cena for his thoughts on Flair, who will be in Reid's corner.

"He's a very good friend of mine," Cena said. "Just a great guy who taught me a lot about this business."

Cena was also asked about Mike Bell, who recently died at a California rehab center and was heavily featured in his brother Chris Bell's "Bigger, Stronger, Faster" documentary.

"I know Mike personally real well. I know their family real well. This is a well-documented case of a kid who had a drug problem," Cena said sternly. "(He made a) personal choice to use not only performance-enhancing, but recreational drugs as well. That behavior can only go on so long before its repercussions. That gentleman had an addiction."
