WWE returns to New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday night for a non-televised house show featuring the Raw and ECW brands.

WWE champion John Cena started 2008 by making a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble, held at MSG in January, after returning from a major chest muscle injury earlier than anyone expected.

Prior to Raw from New Hampshire on Monday, Cena caps off 2008 with a main event WWE World Hvt. Title defense against Chris Jericho in a steel cage match on Sunday night.

Also on the MSG card are three additional title matches. William Regal defends the IC Title against C.M. Punk, Matt Hardy defends the ECW Title against Jack Swagger, and The Miz & John Morrison defend the World tag titles against Cryme Tyme.

An additional match being advertised is Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes. In addition, JBL, Santino, Women's champion Beth Phoenix, and Kelly Kelly are scheduled to appear.

Jim Ross reports on jrsbarbq.com that WWE has "essentially sold out" the event on Sunday night and gross ticket revenue is more than $700,000. In addition, WWE has already sold 10,000 tickets for the double-shot Smackdown taping on Tuesday night in New Jersey.
