WWE star Mr. Kennedy is one month away from a return to the ring, which would put him in line for a possible WrestleMania match after the No Way Out PPV in February or at least some involvement in the build-up to WrestleMania.

Kennedy says he's still recovering from the August injury that has sidelined him for nearly five months, and a recent visit to the doctor has him optimistic about his return.

"Just saw the doctor the other day and he said things are going along smoothly," Kennedy told Eagle 105.7 radio in Augusta, Ga.

Kennedy says the most-difficult thing about recovering from injury is getting back into ring shape because he "hates cardio" and is facing a tough challenge from his wife and personal training partner to get himself physically prepared to wrestle again.

Kennedy was also asked about the filming of "Behind Enemy Lines," which recently came out on DVD. It didn't meet his expectations. "Here I was thinking I was going on vacation," Kennedy said.

Kennedy was expecting fun-in-the-sun in Puerto Rico for the movie filming, but the cast and crew spent most of their time in a rainforest surrounded by cow patties that were like landmines.
