Candice Michelle is recovering from a severe ankle injury that required crutches and a boot to allow the injury to heal. She says she's ahead of schedule on her recovery and she expects to be back on WWE TV soon.

Candice's last TV appearance was on the February 16 Raw in a non-wrestling role. She suffered her latest injury training for a regular schedule to wrestle in the Women's division on Raw.

"I have two torn ligaments (and) a third degree sprain," Candice said on WWE Universe. "My injury was just a mishap unlike what others have heard or said. Just a misfortunate event! After what I've been through, I am a pro at this, haha!"

Candice injured her collarbone last year and missed most of 2008 recovering from injury. Candice doesn't want to take Mr. Kennedy's label of constantly being injured. She's determined to keep her WWE career alive.

"I am still focused and gearing up for another return!" Candice said. "I'm not too frail, injury prone, too old, nor have I lost my passion. Misfortune happens and that's what makes me stronger and builds resiliency."

Candice denied rumors that her WWE contract expires at the end of the year. She added that she has "no desire to leave WWE" and her career won't be over until she says it's over no matter what the so-called "haters" say negatively about her.
