WWE star John Cena appeared on G4TV's "Attack of the Show!" today and said his third movie from WWE Studios is scheduled to be filmed in May. In previous interviews, Cena said June or July.

After completing two movies, Cena says he is committed to making acting a full-time job along with wrestling for WWE.

"I definitely want to act more. I will act more," Cena said on the show. "Hopefully we have another one shot in May. Title to be determined. Definitely a kick-ass movie."

Cena said the "12 Rounds" movie was scripted specifically for Cena to play an ordinary guy. He says director Renny Harlin didn't want to bring the Alpha Male wrestler character into the movie.

"My character is an average, maybe below-average beat cop. He questions being promoted to a detective. Doubts himself many, many times," Cena said. "I'm just an ordinary dude who can chop you to dust."

Cena said he's trying to bring back a true action star vibe. "Renny Harlin took it upon himself to downgrade me as a wrestler," he said. "Didn't want me to look too extra-ordinary. Won't see the giant muscle-shirt shot."

At the beginning of the interview, co-host Kevin Pereira asked Cena about the females in the audience. Cena broke from the norm of talking about tons of kids and families in the audience at WWE live events.

"We're a global company. There's a lot of females out there," Cena said with a smile. Pereira said he sees males clutching their beers, but Cena said, "You should watch the crowd a little more closer."
