WWE star John Cena appeared on NBC's new "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show on Tuesday night to promote "12 Rounds" and show off some personality by parodying four really bad movie scripts.

Following the first-half of Cena's interview, Fallon set up four clips of over-the-top movie premises where Cena played various roles in front of a green screen.

The first clip was for "Uncle Babysitter" where Cena was shown holding three babies and wondering how he got into this mess. (Stay with the theme.) Next was a romantic comedy about a chimney sweeper swept away by passion in "The Sweeps of Dorfield."

The third clip was for a made-up movie, "Gulf War Vet II: Hot Dog / Hot Lead" where Cena played an Iraqi veteran who wanted a simple life, but wondered how he got into this mess of fighting terrorists with hot dogs. Finally, they showed a straight-to-DVD parody clip for "inCARcerated" where Cena played a car and wondered how he got into this mess.

In the first-half of the interview, Cena made sport of Fallon for only reaching 17 episodes of his show compared to WWE Raw being the longest-running TV series at 826 episodes.

Unlike his appearance on Jay Leno the previous night, Cena promoted WrestleMania 25 in addition to promoting "12 Rounds" coming out on Friday.

They aired a different "12 Rounds" video clip from Cena's appearance on Leno the previous night. The clip on Fallon's show featured Cena's character trying to stop a train from crashing and killing everyone inside.

Caldwell's Analysis: Another brief "soundbyte" interview for Cena, who appears to be reaching a state of delirium promoting the heck out of "12 Rounds" on this whirlwind tour. Cena "let his hair down" for Fallon's installment of NBC's late-night shows by doing the parody segments and his voice impersonations. Carson Daly's super-late-night show comes on at 2:00 in the morning here in Houston, so perhaps Cena would run circles around the TV studio at the rate he's going.
