As of this past weekend, WrestleMania 25 ticket sales at Reliant Stadium in Houston have passed $6.4 million, according to Jim Ross on jrsbarbq.com.

Also, tickets are nearly sold out for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony at Toyota Center on Saturday night. Ross says fewer than 500 tickets remain for the event.

WWE notified presenters and inductees at the Hall of Fame that they will be adhering to a strict time schedule. Ross says the presenters are scheduled for a three-minute introduction. Inductees will be scheduled for ten minutes of talking time.

"I think both these times are manageable and will help keep the show moving," Ross said.

Steve Austin will be the headline inductee for the one-hour special airing on USA Network on Saturday night. Ross says Ricky Steamboat could be the other inductee who is featured during the USA special.

"The 2009 WWE Hall of Fame show on USA will center around Stone Cold Steve Austin and perhaps Ricky Steamboat considering Ricky is directly involved with WM25 in the 'Legends Match' vs. Chris Jericho," Ross said.

Caldwell's Analysis: Steamboat seems like the right fit as the "semi-main event" Hall of Fame inductee behind Austin simply because the other inductees don't have strong ties to the current WWE product. When you think Bill Watts, you think Mid-South or WCW. When you think Funks, you think Texas territory and NWA. When you think Von Erichs, you think World Class...and some other not-so-great things. The Fink and Koko B. Ware have strong WWE ties from their careers, but they wouldn't be above Funk, Watts, or the Von Erichs. Steamboat is the right pick.
