Following are the main news and notes from tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown, which featured an epic TV match between Rey Mysterio and John Morrison for the Intercontinental Title.

-- John Morrison was booked to win the Intercontinental Title from Mysterio in a 25-minute TV match that removed Mysterio from TV. Before the match, Smackdown announcer Todd Grisham advertised it as a potential five-star match. The wrestlers were right at that level in Rey's farewell match before serving his 30-day suspension.

Rey actually began his suspension on Wednesday after the match was taped on Tuesday. There was no mention of Mysterio taking time off from TV or serving a suspension or anything that would suggest to the audience that Rey will not be on TV for the next four weeks. The announcers even congratulated Rey and Morrison for their match later on in the show.

-- Dolph Ziggler will still receive an Intercontinental Title match at the Breaking Point PPV. Ziggler will now face John Morrison for the title at the PPV. WWE took Ziggler vs. Morrison on the road last weekend at Smackdown's house shows to have a few trial run matches before they wrestle on TV.

-- The Undertaker was advertised at the top of the show for an appearance during the broadcast. He was then advertised several times later to keep viewers tuned in for Taker's first appearance back on Smackdown since returning at Summerslam. He eventually appeared an hour and 58 minutes into the show to chokeslam World Hvt. champion C.M. Punk through the announce table and stand tall to close the show.

-- WWE announced that Great Khali vs. Kane in a Singapore Cane match has been added to the Breaking Point PPV.

The updated Breaking Point PPV line-up is now WWE champion Randy Orton vs. John Cena in an I Quit match, World Hvt. champion C.M. Punk vs. The Undertaker, IC champion John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler, Unified tag champs Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. MVP & Mark Henry, DX vs. Legacy in a Submissions Count Anywhere match, and Kane vs. Great Khali in a Singapore Cane match.
