WWE wrestler Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) gave one of his first public interviews since signing with WWE this morning on a radio show in Seattle talking about tonight's NXT debut, his name change, and working with The Miz.

Bryan said he's fine with the name change, as he understands WWE being a corporation trying to own the rights to his character's name. He also talked about most of the WWE audience not even knowing who he is, so it won't make a difference what he's called.

"To them I’m always going to be known as Daniel Bryan. I think that will be okay," Bryan said on the B.J. Shea Morning Experience on 99.9 KISW. "I don’t think it's really a big deal; it’s a pretty standard thing."

Bryan, who will be paired with The Miz on NXT, also agreed with some of the items Miz wrote last week about him not looking like a star.

"The deal with The Miz is that that’s how he’s gotten by. He’s very charismatic, he’s gone out there, he’s really good at making people hate him. How I’ve gotten by is a little bit different. I’ve been doing this for over ten years now and what I’ve gotten by and how I made my name is by being excellent in the ring, but that doesn’t mean what he’s saying isn’t partially correct, you know what I mean?" Bryan said.

Bryan also previewed some of the back-and-forth to expect on NXT when he talked about having a completely different personality than Miz, who seemed taken aback that Bryan said he reads during his leisure time.
