Two months before WrestleMania 28 on Monday's Raw episode, WWE set in motion the expected co-headline match of The Undertaker vs. Triple H in a re-match from WrestleMania 27.

In the final segment of Raw, as Hunter was set to "fire" John Laurinaitis as interim Raw GM, The Undertaker's gong sounded to mark his return after a ten-month absence dating back to last year's Mania.

Once in the ring, Taker pointed to the WM28 logo hanging above the arena with his eyes, then pointed again, but Hunter patted him on the shoulder, showing a lack of intimidation, and walked out of the ring. It set the stage for a short-term build-up to making the match official for Mania.

Regarding Sheamus's choice of which top champion to challenge at Mania following his Royal Rumble victory, Sheamus did not make a choice on Raw. The story in-play is that Sheamus may wait until after the Elimination Chamber PPV to decide which top champion - currently WWE champion C.M. Punk and World Hvt. champion Daniel Bryan - to challenge at Mania. It gives WWE leeway to change one of the top champions at the Chamber PPV to set up a more-desirable match for Sheamus if they choose to go that direction.
