WWE Super Smackdown news & notes 4/10

-- Daniel Bryan will receive his World Title re-match against Sheamus at the Extreme Rules PPV on April 29. Sheamus vs. Bryan will be two-out-of-three falls.

No other matches were announced for Extreme Rules, which is headlined by John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar.

-- WWE announced that Alberto Del Rio will receive his future World Title shot against the Bryan-Sheamus winner "soon after" Extreme Rules.

-- Roddy Piper brought back his Piper's Pit segment with special guest Daniel Bryan. Piper also brought A.J. onto the Pit to extend the Bryan/A.J. relationship issue. The segment concluded with Bryan slapping Piper, who got his revenge in the main event when he helped set up Bryan to take a Brogue Kick from Sheamus for the decisive fall in a tag match.

The main event tag was Sheamus & "Mean" Gene Okerlund over Bryan & Del Rio. After the assembled Legends helped Sheamus score the fall, the Legends celebrated in the ring and Pat Patterson punched out Michael Cole to close the show.

-- There was no announcement on the "Legends House" reality show despite the cast of the show being on the "Blast from the Past" Smackdown.

-- The feud between Kane and Randy Orton continued this week, suggesting a rubber match from their recent series could come at Extreme Rules. This week, Kane KO'ed "Cowboy" Bob Orton, which lured Randy into Kane's trap for a backstage attack.

-- Mick Foley appeared on the show to handle commentary during a tag match. Foley referred to being back on the "magic headsets." There was no appearance by Foley's developmental foe, Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley).

-- Mae Young made an appearance to kiss Great Khali following a mixed tag victory for Khali, Natalya, and Alicia Fox over the Bellas and Drew McIntyre, who walked out on the match. The Bellas, who are reportedly leaving WWE at the end of the month, lost the match in less than a minute. This comes one week after Nikki Bella scored a one-minute victory over Divas champion Beth Phoenix in a non-title match.

-- Ryback (formerly Skip Sheffield) continued his squash match run as he is re-introduced to WWE's audience.

-- Damien Sandow continued his introduction with a pre-taped monologue discussing the pitfalls of social media, especially Twitter.
