WWE Smackdown TV taping preview 4/17

Following Monday's Raw TV taping, WWE remains in London on Tuesday to tape Friday's Smackdown episode featuring the latest hype for Extreme Rules.

Smackdown's top match for the PPV is World Hvt. champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan, which is the only item WWE focused on in a Smackdown preview that aired during Raw.

The Smackdown brand is coming off a Legends-themed live Super Smackdown special that concluded with a "feel good moment" involving WWE Legends that did not set up this week's Smackdown episode for follow-through.

WWE is expected to follow-up on Kane's promo aimed at Randy Orton during Raw, which will likely set up a third match in their recent series at the PPV.

The taping will be completely dependent on Smackdown brand wrestlers and Raw brand wrestlers who have been touring with Smackdown in Europe, as the Raw brand is running a house show simultaneously in Italy.

-- The O2 Arena in London is advertising two dated matches for the live crowd in London, including former World Hvt. champion Daniel Bryan vs. current IC champion Big Show and Randy Orton vs. injured wrestler Wade Barrett in a Street Fight.

-- WWE will also be taping Week 59 of the ongoing NXT: Redemption season to air Wednesday on WWE's website. The episode follows the end of the Kidd-McGillicutty series and Matt Striker kidnapper storyline on last week's show.
