The taped episode of WWE Raw on Monday, April 16 from London scored a 3.08 rating, essentially even with a 3.10 rating last week.

Raw averaged 4.39 million viewers, up 100,000 viewers from last week's average of 4.29 million viewers. The show was in-line with the Raw two weeks before WrestleMania (4.38 million viewers), similar to this Raw being two weeks before Extreme Rules.

Raw started with 4.32 million first hour viewers and increased to an average of 4.45 million second hour viewers. It was the fourth week in a row that Raw's second hour average increased, reversing the recent trend of Raw losing viewers during the second hour.

-- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 in overall viewers behind "Pawn Stars" on History Channel. The show ranked #1 in key male demos, topping History programming.

Despite the week-to-week overall rating being flat, Raw's demographic ratings were up two-tenths to four-tenths of a rating compared to last week.

Removing the night-after-Mania-Raw from the equation, Raw scored its highest m12-34 since February 27, highest m18-49 rating since mid-March, highest m18-34 rating since mid-March, and highest m12-17 teen male rating since February 6. Raw's m12-17 rating actually topped the night-after-Mania Raw.

Caldwell's Analysis: There was definitely a WrestleMania hangover last week with viewership down 15 percent from Raw the-night-after-Mania. The audience came back a little this week (not reflected in the overall rating), which is encouraging for WWE when the international shows typically do not fare well. Broadening out Raw viewership, though, the show is still trailing short-term and long-term trends, so the slight uptick is a positive development week-to-week, but still well short of the bar.
