WWE Raw TV news & notes 4/23

-- Retired 2012 Hall of Famer Edge made a surprise appearance in the opening segment to cut a passionate promo on John Cena to "snap out of his losing streak." Edge also noted his WWE contract is set to expire soon.

-- In the final segment of three three-hour Raw, Brock Lesnar "made a list of demands" that heel authority figure John Laurinaitis agreed to. Included was Raw being "re-named" as "Monday Night Raw starring Brock Lesnar."

WWE also name-dropped Vince McMahon for the first in several months, with Lesnar saying he wants to fly in McMahon's private jet to and from each week's venue. The segment then concluded with Lesnar and Cena signing a contract for their Extreme Rules PPV main event. There was no physicality involved.

-- WWE featured three current TNA stars who were on the list of Lesnar's early WWE victims in a series of video packages highlighting Lesnar's path back to WWE. The videos showed Lesnar defeating Jeff Hardy, then Hulk Hogan, then Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 19 in 2003.

-- Nikki Bella captured the Divas Title from Beth Phoenix, who appeared to suffer an ankle injury prior to the finish. The title change ended Phoenix's title reign dating back to October 2011.

-- Paul Bearer made a cameo as Kane's father in a segment promoting Kane-Randy Orton at the Extreme Rules PPV. Bearer ended up locked in a freezer tied to a wheelchair.

-- Eve Torres was given a new role as "executive administrator" for John Laurinaitis's regime.

Laurinaitis's legal representative, David Otunga, did not appear on Raw due to supporting his fiance, Jennifer Hudson, at her family's court proceedings in Chicago on Monday.

-- Taco Bell's Doritos tacos officially sponsored the final match of the show - Brodus Clay & Hornswoggle defeating Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger, complete with personalized match-up graphics.

-- The top match announced for Friday's Smackdown leading to the PPV is World Hvt. champion Sheamus vs. Mark Henry in a non-title match. Also announced for Smackdown is Michael Cole conducting an interview with Randy Orton prior to the PPV.
