WWE top star John Cena replaced Triple H in this week's storyline-driven, sit-down interview series with Michael Cole.

The main focus was Cena gunning for revenge on Seth Rollins because he feels Rollins tried to take away his legacy at Night of Champions. Cena also did more to hype Brock Lesnar than WWE has the past two Raw episodes since the PPV.

Cena said Seth "doesn't know how much of an idiot he is" for ending his WWE World Title match with Lesnar at the PPV. Cena described his character's journey of being wiped out by Lesnar at Summerslam, having everyone doubt him and thinking he's washed up, and then "hanging with a monster" in the title re-match to the point of almost beating him.

"Who else on the WWE roster can beat Brock Lesnar?" Cena asked rhetorically. "I say it's no one. Half the time it's not even John Cena."

Cena also visited one of the potential "conspiracy theories" in the equation, namely whether Triple H sent Rollins to the ring to break up a potential three count for Cena in order to make sure Cena does not become champion. Whether it's because The Authority simply does not want Cena as champion or because Hunter did not want Cena to become a 16-time champion because Hunter has an affinity for Ric Flair.

Regardless of whether Rollins was sent out by The Authority or acted alone, Cena said he will not let anyone stand in his way until he gets revenge on Rollins.

This led to a discussion of Dean Ambrose. Cena acknowledged Ambrose's position of wanting revenge on Rollins for trying to end his career, but Cena put his legacy and accomplishments at the same level as why Ambrose is seeking revenge.

Cena said Dean's perspective is Cena's issue isn't big enough, but Cena argued that his accolade of becoming a 16-time champion and his career accomplishments being doubted after Summerslam are at the level.

Cena closed by saying he knows he and Ambrose have to find common ground or else they're "done" because The Authority wants to pit them against each other. He said he's not Dean's enemy, but anyone who stands in his way will have to move. "I'm going to get to Seth one way or another," Cena said.

There was no indication of what the situation will lead to at Hell in a Cell, but it's apparent WWE is putting Brock Lesnar's WWE Title reign to the side at the moment to let the Ambrose/Cena-Rollins/Authority issues play out leading to the PPV.
