WWE STOCK TRACK: Shares fall below $10 per share

WWE Stock Track 2015

- Wednesday, January 21: Closing Price of $10.13 per share, up slightly from $10.05 on Tuesday. The low-point was $9.92 per share, avoiding a new 52-week low.

- Tuesday, January 20: WWE's stock price dipped below $10 per share for the first time since September 2013. WWE also established a new 52-week low-point of $9.82.

Shares closed at $10.05 per share, down 2.3 percent from last Friday's close following the MLK Holiday on Monday.

- Friday, January 16: Closing Price of $10.29 per share, essentially even with Thursday's close. The stock established a new 52-week low-point of $10.19 per share.

The stock price has not been under $10 per share since September 2013.

- Thursday, January 15: WWE's stock price slid to a 52-week low of $10.24 per share. This ended a slow decline toward the previous low of $10.55 during the first-half of the month.

The stock price closed at $10.30 per share, down four percent from Wednesday's close. WWE is now valued at $777.41 million, down 17 percent from the start of the year.

WWE announced they will report Fourth Quarter 2014 & full-year 2014 earnings on Thursday, February 12. WWE CEO Vince McMahon and financial executive George Barrios will host the quarterly conference call at 11:00 a.m. EST. [ LINK: Announcement HERE ]

- Wednesday, January 14: Closing Price of $10.72 per share, down one percent from Tuesday. The low-point was $10.57 per share, nearly hitting the 52-week low of $10.55 per share.

A new survey of stock analysts who track WWE are split on whether to "buy" or "hold" WWE stock. Four analysts said buy and four others said hold. Also, the average one-year price target among analysts surveyed is $16.67, which WWE is well-below at the start of the year. [ LINK: Report HERE ]

- Tuesday, January 13: Closing Price of $10.84 per share, essentially even with the previous two days. The low-point was $10.68 per share, again drawing closer to a 52-week low.

- Monday, January 12: Closing Price of $10.87 per share, essentially even with Friday's close of $10.93 per share. The low-point was $10.65 per share, drawing closer to a new 52-week low.

- Friday, January 9: Closing Price of $10.93 per share, down 2.5 percent from Thursday. The steady decline of WWE's stock price this week nearly reached a 52-week low. Friday's low was $10.80 per share, close to the 52-week low of $10.55.

WWE is now valued at $824.96 million, down 11 percent from the start of the year.

- Thursday, January 8: Closing Price of $11.22 per share, down 1.1 percent from Wednesday. The low-point was $11.11, again drawing close to a 52-week low.

The Motley Fool published an article wondering if WWE is a "buying opportunity" or on a long-term downward trend after shares fell 60 percent over the past year. Fool examined key aspects of WWE's business HERE.

- Wednesday, January 7: Closing Price of $11.35 per share, down four percent from Tuesday's close. WWE inched closer to a 52-week low by bottoming out at $11.15 per share.

- Tuesday, January 6: Closing Price of $11.84 per share, essentially even with Monday's close. The day's high was $12.15 and the low was $11.73. Not much movement at the start of the week.

- Monday, January 5: Closing Price of $11.81 per share, down 1.8 percent from Friday's close. The day's high was $12.18 per share and the low was $11.80.

- Friday, January 2: Closing Price of $12.03 per share, down 2.5 percent from the previous close. The day's high was $12.46 and low was $11.83, drawing close to the 52-week lowpoint.

Also on Friday, financial analyst Zacks downgraded WWE's stock from "Outperform" to a "Neutral" rating. Zack is in wait-and-see mode on the latest WWE financials due out in February. [ LINK: Report HERE.
