WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair says he is capable of wrestling again, but he believes WWE is afraid that he would be too good in the ring.

"I would love to get back in the ring, but they are scared I would steal the show every week," Flair told "The Guide" U.K. publication. "I can still go in the ring and take a suplex or two if I need to."

Flair, 66, is heading to the U.K. for a big one-man show tour that runs Sunday (May 24) through next Saturday (May 30).

Flair says he could "talk about my career all day long," especially because he "did not want to stop competing at all" when he had his WWE retirement match against Shawn Michaels seven years ago WrestleMania 24.

"I think in terms of the direction the business was heading I saw it as a good time for me to step away from the ring," Flair said.

Flair was also asked about potentially returning to WWE TV in a non-wrestling role, especially working with his daughter, NXT women's wrestler Charlotte.

‘I have been asked before if I would go back into a management role with Ashley, but she needs me like a hole in the head. I wouldn’t boost her career, if anything I would hinder it," Flair said.

"I think she is one of the best athletes on the roster, but being a female it is always going to be hard in this industry."
