TV Wrestling Viewership Break Down
Week of June 22

This week's numbers include the season premiere of "Tough Enough" Tuesday night, June 23 on USA Network, but do not include Lucha Underground on Wednesday, June 24, as the show did not register in the weekly cable TV rankings.

Despite the addition of Tough Enough, it turned out to be a wash for WWE's share of total wrestling viewership. A smaller Raw audience combined with increases to ROH and TNA Impact resulted in virtually the same share of the pie for WWE as the previous three weeks.

Raw, Smackdown, TNA Impact, ROH TV, and Tough Enough

- Total Live TV Wrestling Viewership: 8.156 million (up 10 percent from last week with the addition of Tough Enough and 1.0 million viewers from two weeks ago).

- Total DVR Added Viewership: 8.954 million, up nearly 1.0 million from last week's 8.093 total viewership.

- WWE's TV programming grabbed 90.4 percent of the live TV wrestling share, which probably would be slightly under 90 percent if Lucha Underground were counted. This compares to almost the same share of 89.4 percent last week and 89.0 percent two weeks ago pre-Tough Enough.

WWE's share of DVR-added viewership was 90.1 percent, compared to 88.8 percent last week and 88.4 percent two weeks ago.

- Monday, June 22: WWE Raw's three individual hours averaged 3.670 million viewers live + same day, down significantly from 4.113 million viewers last week.

DVR viewing then accounted for an increase of 9.7 percent, only slightly up from 9.3 percent last week. So, there was not a DVR Bump to make up for the downturn in live viewership.

8:00 p.m.: 3.594 million live viewers, 3.922 million with DVR
9:00 p.m.: 3.606 million live, 3.912 million with DVR
10:00 p.m.: 3.812 million live, 4.246 million with DVR (close to last week's show, which drew 4.393 million total)
SHOW AVG.: 3.670 million viewers live, 4.026 million with DVR (+9.7%)
LAST WEEK: 4.113 million viewers live, 4.495 million with DVR (+9.3%)

Overall, the June 29 Raw grabbed 45 percent of the total TV wrestling pie and also 45 percent of the week's total viewership with DVR added in. This was by far the lowest percentage since we began tracking total weekly viewership the past four weeks.

- Tuesday, June 23: Tough Enough premiered with 1.209 million live + same day viewers.

Tough Enough added 140,000 DVR viewers to bring the total to 1.349 million. This represents about half of Smackdown's total viewership on Thursday night.

- Wednesday, June 24: Ring of Honor's first-run airing on Destination America drew 185,000 viewers, the most through four episodes.

Adding in the 11:00 p.m. EST replay/West Coast airing, ROH drew a total Wednesday night audience of 330,000 viewers, a big leap from the previous three episodes. That also accounted for nearly all of the audience.

DVR viewership was only 7,000, bringing the total to 337,000 total viewers for the episode. This was up from 286k last week, 320k two weeks ago, and 308k three weeks ago.

- Wednesday, June 24: TNA Impact drew 369,000 first-run viewers, up from 347k last week.

The midnight replay/West Coast airing drew 82,000 viewers, bringing the Wednesday night total to 451,000 viewers (vs. 330k combined for ROH).

Impact separated from ROH, though, by adding 99,000 viewers via DVR viewing. This was the most through four weeks.

This brought total viewership to 555,000, compared to 337,000 for ROH. This was Impact's most combined viewers through four weeks, topping 530k last week, 487k two weeks ago, and 449k three weeks ago.

- Wednesday, June 24: We do not have Lucha Underground viewership.

- Thursday, June 25: WWE Smackdown drew 2.496 million live + same day viewers on Syfy, slightly p from 2.468 million viewers last week.

DVR viewing added 196,000 viewers, slightly down from 225,000 viewers last week.

Therefore, total viewership was nearly identical at 2.692 million viewers this week compared to 2.691 million viewers last week.
