WWE's Divas division has been struggling for months with unclear characters and a seemingly random draw of whether the Bellas will play faces or heels on TV.

With the audience unable to invest in the characters, the Divas who make up the roster are taking notice. And they're talking to Vince McMahon and Triple H about it. If you ask Natalya and Brie Bella, sister of current Divas champion Nikki Bella, about the topic, there is a strong desire to see a major shake-up in the division. Both Natalya and Brie believe it's coming soon from NXT.

"My sister and I were begging (McMahon) for more Divas to come up to the main roster from NXT after WrestleMania, but they have to wrap up their stories there which can sometimes be why it doesn't happen immediately and as fast as we'd like," Brie told FemaleFirst.co.uk. about wanting to work with new talent on the main roster.

Asked who the Bellas would like to work with, Brie said "all of them," then listed NXT's Four Horsewomen of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch.

Natalya, who says she is preparing to return to the ring after Tyson Kidd went down with a neck injury, took it a step further saying the main roster is "starving" to wrestle the NXT wrestlers.

“Vince McMahon is taking notice of what these girls are doing in NXT," Natalya told Scott Fishman of the Miami Herald. "We are so excited on the main roster because finally, finally we are going to be allowed to have longer matches and tell more stories. Vince is noticing it and wondering what is causing such frenzy at NXT with Triple H and these girls. I feel very grateful Hunter is so behind these girls because it’s causing Vince McMahon to take notice.

"The girls on the main roster like me are all starving to have the same opportunities that girls at NXT are getting. Triple H is really spearheading that. He is really revolutionizing the way women are looked within the industry. Hopefully, that can transfer to the main roster because I am starving to do what I did at NXT. I can’t wait."

Natalya was referring to her NXT mini-program with Charlotte that centered on the Hart Family vs. Flair Family. Natalya said she hopes clearer, more-focused stories make it to main television after what's been happening in NXT with feuds like Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks.

- Both Brie & Nikki and Natalya were interviewed to promote the new season of "Total Divas" that premieres Tuesday on E!.

Natalya talked in-depth to Fishman about her father, Jim Neidhart, recovering from drug addiction. She also talked about one of the scenes from the new season focusing on her mom trying to help her develop a heel persona. This was when Tyson Kidd & Cesaro were a heel tag team and Natalya tried to break away from her face persona to match their role. "I debuted this new look that was a little darker and edgier when I walked Cesaro and T.J. down to the ring," Natalya explained.

Coincidentally, like a page from the current Divas division, WWE eventually shifted Kidd & Cesaro to a face role without ever turning Natalya's team, prompting Natalya to drop the short-lived heel persona. And, more recently, disappear from TV following Kidd's neck injury.
