KELLER BLOG: Apology for earlier post regarding Jeff Hardy

For a brief time on Sunday, Torch contributor Jeremy Maes of the DEJ Blog posted a blog with inappropriate and tasteless content regarding Jeff Hardy's house burning down. I apologize for that content making it live on the site for the short time it was published before being taken down.
Maes also apologizes. He says he was attempting to frame the paragraph of controversy as the type of wild speculation that the Internet engages in, not as a serious suggestion, but the way it was written - admittedly badly in need of a proofread from a separate set of eyes - did not make that clear...
Says Maes: "Apparently I did miss badly. I guess when you go down in flames you never see the missile that hit you. I am taking responsibility, but I thought the tone of the article in its entirety lent itself to sarcasm. That was what I was going for. I have been doing this long enough to know better than to say something like that and actually mean it. The Internet fan remark was due in part to people seemingly taking joy in Jeff failing again with his addiction."
