1 - KOFI KINGSTON vs. CURT HAWKINS (w/Tyler Reks)

Hawkins wins a lock-up, but Kingston scares him out of the ring with a Trouble in Paradise tease in the first few moments. Hawkins regroups and there is an ugly struggle - looks like a botched drop toehold. Kingston kips up out of an armbar and a jumping lateral press gets one. Kingston maintains control with a leaping back elbow, and sends Hawkins to the ringside. Kingston lands a suicide dive to the outside and rolls Hawkins in. Reks provides a distraction and Hawkins capitalizes with a kneelift and a neckbreaker over the ropes.

Hawkins still on offense out of the break. Wait, Scott Stanford just referred to an actual storyline on NXT, and Josh Mathews followed it up by name-dropping Titus O'Neil and Darren Young. The crowd rallies Kingston, who gets a pendulum kick and a top-rope crossbody to start an offensive flurry. SOS, but Hawkins gets his hands on the ropes at two. Swinging bodyslam from Hawkins for two. Hawkins comes off the ropes and runs into the Trouble in Paradise for the loss.

WINNER: Kofi Kingston in 8:00. Things just did not click in this match. Some of the action was clunky, and the booking made no sense. Is this a step up for Hawkins or a step down for Kingston? Why are these two fighting? I know, that's a common question with Superstars, but at least most matches continue existing programs, start new ones, or act as a showcase/squash. In this case, an evenly-fought match between two people who are nowhere near each other on the card does nothing for anyone.

2 - KELLY KELLY vs. BRIE BELLA (w/Nikki Bella)

The Bella Twins appear to have forgotten their Team Teddy/Team Johnny rivalry. Brie with a corner attack early on, but Kelly chokes her in the ropes, then takes her outside and smashes her face in to the mat. Brie begs for mercy and Nikki does, too, but Kelly hits her, then spanks her. Brie gets a side slam for two, then starts to stomp away. Brie tries to yank Kelly's hair out. Cover from Brie for two and she argues with the ref. Brie surfboards Kelly through the ropes until the ref calls for a break.

Kelly comes back with a Thesz Press and punches. Kelly uses the helicopter leg takedown and follows with the cartwheel buttsplash, then the "Booty Call" butt rub to the face. Bulldog for two. Brie kicks Kielly in the stomach, but Kelly blocks the X-Factor and bridges into a cover for the win.

WINNERS: Kelly Kelly in 3:30. Kelly Kelly still needs a lot of work to be where she needs to be. If the reports are true that the Bella Twins are not re-signing their contracts in a few weeks, I will be disappointed. They consistently entertain with their antics, they have more personality than most Divas who aren't on NXT, and their in-ring work has come along nicely.

"The End of the Era" reflection video aired.

3 - EZEKIEL JACKSON vs. JINDER MAHAL

Mahal has traded in the white jacket for purple, and the red turban for white.

Mahal can't overcome Jackson's strength with holds, and then angers him with a slap. Jackson goes to work, but walks into a drop toehold and ends up face-first in the turnbuckle. Mahal with his typical offense. The crowd chants "USA" which makes no sense since neither man is from this continent, let alone this country. (At least, not in their billing, as Mahal is actually Canadian.) Jackson gets upset when Mahal slaps him some more in the corner and goes on the attack, but Mahal turns it right back around. Mahal puts Jackson in the Camel Clutch and Jackson taps after about ten seconds.

WINNER: Jinder Mahal via submission in 3:45. These two do not mesh well, but honestly, no one seems to mesh well with Jackson. This was basically a squash for Mahal, giving him a win over a visually impressive opponent.
