SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Monday on Raw, WWE determined a new #1 contender to Seth Rollins’s WWE Title by going through a series of singles matches leading to a four-way #1 contender match in the main event.

The ultimate “survivor” was Roman Reigns, who will next face Rollins for the WWE Title. The match will presumably take place at the Survivor Series PPV in November, but WWE did not make it official.

Reigns won a hotly-contested four-way match over IC champion Kevin Owens, U.S. champion Alberto Del Rio, and Dolph Ziggler.

Earlier in the night, Reigns beat Kofi Kingston, Owens beat Cesaro, and Ziggler beat Big E. to qualify for the #1 contender match.
