The entire lower bowl of Talking Stick Resort Arena was full. The upper area was tarped off, except the hard camera side. Lots of empty seats there. Estimate crowd of 10,000.
Smackdown SPOILERS 10/29
Roman Reigns came out for an in-ring promo. IC champion Kevin Owens interrupted. Reigns challenged Owens to a match.
(1) Roman Reigns beat IC champion Kevin Owens via count-out in a non-title match. Good back and forth action. Owens left through the audience and got counted out. Roman was over.
Backstage, Bo Dallas dressed as a ghost. He interacted with several wrestlers. When he scared Mark Henry, Henry punched and knocked Bo out.
(2) Lucha Dragons beat Dudley Boys, Sheamus & King Barrett, and The Ascension in a four-team match when an Ascension member was pinned. The Dudleys, Barrett, and Sheamus brawled to the back. New Day provided commentary. Dragons got a huge pop when they entered the arena and then when they won.
(3) Dolph Ziggler beat The Miz in a Trick or Treat Street Fight with a roll-up. Some comedy. Afterward, Tyler Breeze came out and attacked Ziggler.
(4) Paige beat Natalya. Team B.A.D. came out and distracted Nattie. Afterward, B.A.D. destroyed Natalya.
(5) U.S. champion Alberto Del Rio pinned R-Truth in a short match. Alberto got a nice pop.
(6) The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper & Erick Rowan & Braun Strauman w/Bray Wyatt) beat Dean Ambrose & Ryback & Cesaro in a six-man tag match. The Wyatts won when Bray interfered by punching Cesaro into a clothesline from Harper.
Afterward, the Wyatts destroyed the heroes until Reigns came out for the save. Cesaro and Ambrose brought Bray’s chair into the ring while the rest of the Family left Harper in the ring. The heroes applied their finishing maneuvers to send the crowd home happy.
I wore a “Bayley I’m a Hugger” shirt and received three hugs! Favorite sign that I saw: “(Dolph) Ziggler is an Uggo.”
Bo didn’t scare Mark because he was in a white sheet did he? Kinda feels like the sort of thing WWE would do.
