WWE taped this week’s Smackdown episode Tuesday night in Hershey, Pa. featuring the advertised singles match of Bray Wyatt vs. Bubba Ray Dudley. Plus, other developments in the WWE Title picture…

Notes: Doors did not open until 50 minutes before showtime. The arena was half-full when they started at 7:00 p.m. with the entire upper level covered up.

My son Owen was happy that the small merchandise stand was inside the doors. He was able to get a pair of Stardust gloves while I settled on a Nikki Bella hat so that we could get to our seats quicker. In-between Main Event and Smackdown, I was able to get back to the merchandise stand and bought a Ryback shirt for myself and New Day shirt for my son.

WWE will be returning to Hershey on Sunday, March 13.

RESULTS FOR DEC. 3 EPISODE

– The show opened with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and the Usos in the ring. Reigns talked about The Usos being family, Dean being like a brother to him, and the current situation with The Authority, the League of Nations, and his TLC match vs. Sheamus. He then called out League of Nations for a fight. Sheamus commented about beating Reigns at Survivor Series, then after Roman challenged them to a fight, Sheamus said they just want to be friends. But, since Reigns & Co. don’t want to be friends, he talked to WWE officials. And they set up the League of Nations vs. the Usos & Roman & Dean later tonight

WWE tag champions the New Day then came out to run their mouths and announce that the Usos & Ambrose have to beat them to earn the right to team with Reigns later tonight. But, if they lose, Roman has to face the League of Nations by himself.

– Dolph Ziggler made his way to ringside for the next match.

– They ran a promo for the Santa’s Little Helper movie featuring The Miz & Paige.

(1) Tyler Breeze (w/Summer Rae) pinned Neville after Summer interfered.

Jojo had a backstage interview with Becky Lynch saying she still trusts Charlotte because her actions don’t affect her as much as Paige turning on their team. Brie Bella then came over with Alica Fox saying that Becky is the weak link. Divas champion Charlotte then showed up telling Becky she will be in her corner and will always have her back.

(2) Brie Bella (w/Alicia Fox) beat Becky Lynch (w/Divas champion Charlotte) via DQ. For the finish, Brie accidentally hit Charlotte and just as Becky was getting Brie in the Dis-armer, Charlotte came into the ring to attack Brie, inadvertently causing the DQ.

– The Miz was in the back trying to get Neville to let him help him with his career. He said that he helped Daniel Bryan to the top and then gave him a copy of his “Santa’s Little Helper” movie.

– Renee Young interviewed Rusev & Lana about what happened on Raw in Rusev’s match with Ryback.

(3) WWE tag champions the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston & Big E.) beat Dean Ambrose & The Usos in a six-man tag match when Xavier pinned Jimmy. So now Reigns will have a four-on-one handicap match vs. The League of Nations later tonight.

– Bray Wyatt then came on the screen to tell the Dudley Boyz they’re here. … During the Dudleys’s entrance, R-Truth came out and waved to the crowd.

(4) Bray Wyatt (w/Wyatt Family) pinned Devon Dudley (w/Bubba Dudley and Tommy Dreamer) with Sister Abigail. Post-match, Braun Strowman rag-dolled Bubba, then Rowan put Tommy through a table. They left a pile in the ring.

– The League of Nations (WWE World Hvt. champion champion Sheamus, King Barrett, Rusev, and U.S. champion Alberto Del Rio) made their way out.

– Roman Reigns was backstage with Dean and the Usos, who apologized for losing. Renee Young then came in to tell Ambrose and the Usos that they are banned from ringside.

(5a) During the League of Nations vs. Roman Reigns match, King Barrett was ejected for illegally pulling Reigns down when he was going to Superman Punch Sheamus. This made it a three-on-one match.

(5b) Roman Reigns beat Sheamus & Alberto Del Rio & Rusev via count-out in a handicap match. Reigns won after fighting of the three opponents outside the ring and making it back into the ring.

Post-match, Sheamus Brogue-kicked Reigns. Barrett came back out, but Ambrose and the Usos came out to assist Roman. Reigns then called Sheamus back into the ring and landed a Superman Punch on him before he could re-enter the ring.
