SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Tuesday night’s two-hour Super Smackdown topped Monday night’s three-hour “Slammys” edition of Raw in Nielsen’s Twitter TV Ratings.

Smackdown drew a unique Twitter audience of 1.266 million, topping 1.177 million for Monday’s Raw.

Raw more than doubled Smackdown in total impressions, though. This was likely due to the extra hour of programming generating more Twitter views for Raw, just by fewer individual people compared to Smackdown.

If compared to one-off sports programming on Tuesday night, Smackdown would have ranked #5 in Twitter audience behind two college football bowl games, one college basketball game, and one NBA game.

Overall for Smackdown, it was the #2 show of the year in the Twitter TV Ratings.

The first show back on Thursday nights on January 15 drew a unique Twitter audience of 1.290 million, just topping this week’s 1.266 million for the live Tuesday night special on USA Network.
