SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

The teaser that “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson dropped on social media over the weekend is that he will be part of WrestleMania 32 in April 2016 in Texas.

In Monday’s announcement, Rock did not say whether he will be wrestling at the show. He said he hopes to help set an attendance record at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex.

Rock’s official announcement read: “IT’S OFFICIAL: People’s Champ is coming home to do 3 things with THE PEOPLE: Set an ALL-TIME attendance record, ELECTRIFY Dallas like never before, make all time #WRESTLEMANIA history.”

WWE followed up on Rock’s announcement by saying Rock “will be in Dallas for WrestleMania,” not advertising him for in-ring action.

There were questions about Rock’s availability because of his movie schedule. Rock is scheduled to film a “Baywatch” re-make in March & April in Georgia, allowing him to take a quick weekend trip to Texas during filming.
