SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Part-time WWE star Mick Foley is hopeful that he will land a new role on WWE TV.

Foley said at his comedy show Thursday night in Greenville, S.C. that he is looking to manage Becky Lynch in her feud with Divas champion Charlotte and Ric Flair.

Foley added that he is hopeful to get a meeting with Vince McMahon to pitch the managerial idea to counter Flair’s presence in the top Divas feud.

Overall, the show was heavily focused on his “Hell in a Cell” fall and stories from his “Have a Nice Day” book.

The show was sold out at The Comedy Zone in Greenville with about 200-250 people in attendance.
