SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Daniel Bryan has been out of the ring for about nine months, but he is suddenly a key figure in the wrestling world again.

Bryan started a social media campaign promoting a wrestling comeback, Bryan’s wife, Brie Bella, talked about their relationship Tuesday night on ESPNews’s SportsCenter, and Bryan will continue his supporting role in the new season of “Total Divas” premiering next week on E!.

But, where will his next match be? Should he even return to the ring considering his concussion history, despite being cleared by independent doctors?

“Will I return to the ring? No matter what anyone says, I keep training like the answer will be #YesYesYes,” Bryan tweeted this week. He closed with a shout-out to John Cena, adding: “#NeverGiveUp.”

  1. I think we’re being swerved. Bryan has been cleared by enough doctors that WWE has already decided to let him compete again, but they’ve gritted their teeth and kept him off of TV waiting for the Royal Rumble. At the Rumble he will be a surprise entrant number 30 and receive a hero’s welcome from the crowd…before being unceremoniously eliminated by Triple H or some other part-timer.
