3/17 Smackdown Results

Smackdown opened with a promo from Roman Reigns on Triple H. There were more cheers than boos for Roman, who came down the ramp like on Raw. No more crowd entrance?

(1) Dolph Ziggler beat The Miz.

Dean Ambrose, back home in Cincinnati, cut a promo on the video screen saying he likes Cincinnasty.

(2) Bubba Ray (w/Devon) beat Goldust. Afterward, Devon beat down Goldust, so R-Truth tried to make the save. The Usos helped, too.

Divas champion Charlotte, with Ric Flair, cut a basic promo on the Divas divisiojn. Becky Lynch interrupted, then Sasha Banks. It turned into a brawl until Charlotte ran away.

(3) Kofi Kingston (w/New Day) beat King Barrett (w/League of Nations. New Day brought a bag of trash to the ring and named each item after League of Nations members.

Ambrose celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in Cincinnati, also on the big screen.

The Social Outcasts came to the ring for a promo hanging out on the ring apron. Ambrose interrupted and closed his night by taking out the Social Outcasts in the ring, then standing tall in the ring with a kendo stick.

(5) IC champion Kevin Owens pinned A.J. Styles in the main event due to Chris Jericho providing a distraction. Jericho beat up Styles to close the taping.
