3/15 TNA Impact Viewers – Audience jumps 54 percent from year-low

After falling to year-low viewership last week for Kurt Angle’s farewell match, TNA benefited from a fresh start this week with a semi-live episode in Orlando.

March 15: TNA Impact drew a combined audience of 430,000 viewers on Tuesday night, up 54 percent from last week’s historical low audience of 280,000 Tuesday night viewers.

The original airing drew 307,000 viewers, then the replay drew 123,000 viewers, the most for an Impact replay thus far on Pop TV.

  • January 19: 443,000 viewers
  • January 26: 442,000 viewers
  • February-mid-March: progressive decline in the audience
  • March 15: 430,000 viewers

DEMOGRAPHICS: The key to TNA’s audience increase was a jump in 18-49 viewers. The first airing drew 117,000 a18-49 viewers, up from only 74,000 last week.

Within that, male 18-49 viewership increased from only 51k last week to 90k this week.

TNA struggled to draw female viewers, though, as the f18-49 viewership only slightly upticked from last week.

The result was a split of 77 percent males 18-49 and 23 percent females 18-49.
