SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Exit former TNA Hvt. champion, Bobby Roode, who feels like TNA’s brand is stale and enter new TNA Hvt. champion Drew Galloway, who hopes to revitalize the promotion.

Galloway won the TNA Hvt. Title from Matt Hardy on the March 15 Impact broadcast and is looking to make the title mean something internationally.

“This is my biggest success. I’m ready to take it forward and embrace the challenge. I think I’m the busiest wrestler in the world and I love it,” Galloway told the U.K.’s Daily Record newspaper in a new interview.

Galloway, 30, says he’s more mature than he was in WWE when he won his first major title. Now, he’s ready to handle the responsibility.

“Everyone looked at me when I was 24 and had won a championship in WWE and the attention was a bit much,” Galloway said. “It was such a whirlwind and I got a harsh introduction to the kind of people who say they’re happy for you but aren’t really. Now I’m a man and I’m 100 percent ready to be a world champion again.”

Galloway also believes he is ready to be married again. Galloway’s relationship with former WWE/TNA women’s wrestler Taryn Terrell (Tiffany) ended in a publicized divorce. But, both have matured and moved on, including Galloway, who got engaged just before winning the TNA Title.

“It’s been the happiest few weeks of my life and I feel like everything is on the up. Getting engaged was fantastic,” Galloway said of proposing to girlfriend Kaitlyn, who is now on the road with him.

“We’re going to buy a nice house in Tampa, Florida. I feel at home in America because I’ve been here for eight years,” Galloway said.
