Looking to compensate for the loss of Bobby Roode and Eric Young from their roster, TNA announced Thursday the signing of five wrestlers to contracts.

Included are independent stand-outs Pepper Parks (Jesse Guilmette) and Cherry Bomb (Laura Dennis), a married couple.

TNA also officially signed former NXT tag team Sylvestor LeFort (Thomas La Ruffa) and Marcus Louis (identified in TNA’s press release as Mikael Vierge; his real name is purported to be Pierre Marceau).

TNA said in their press release that La Ruffa and the man identified as Vierge “want to be considered the benchmark for tag teams in Impact Wrestling.”

The fifth wrestler signed is Marshe Rockett, who TNA says impressed executives at a recent tryout and was immediately signed. “Marshe is someone who can make a quick impression on the Impact Wrestling roster,” TNA said.
