Aired on WWE Network

Before Monday’s Raw TV, WWE taped this week’s Superstars matches airing Friday night…

Byron Saxton officially calls everything, joined by Rich Brennan on commentary.

1 — JACK SWAGGER vs. TYLER BREEZE

Heavy post-production establishing Swagger as the face and Breeze as the heel in this match-up. Breeze slowed down the much-larger Swagger, who sold throughout the match. Breeze hit a leaping knee smash, then the Super Model Kick for back-to-back nearfalls. But, he missed the Beauty Shot and fell victim to the Patriotlock in the middle of the ring.

WINNER: Swagger via submission at 5:30. Breeze got the offense, Swagger got the win. Basic WWE undercard match.

– A series of WM32 hype videos and Raw recaps filled the middle of the show.

2 — U.S. champion KALISTO vs. KONNOR (w/Viktor) — non-title match

Lucha Dragons vs. The Ascension in singles form just screams Superstars. The match was paced for two segments with Konnor slowly walking around the ring trying to frighten Kalisto, playing up the big-man vs. little-man theme for Kalisto’s U.S. Title defense against Ryback at WrestleMania.

[Mid-Match Break]

Konnor pummeled Kalisto back from break. Konnor then slowed the pace to keep Kalisto on the mat to render him ineffective. But, Kalisto made it to the ropes to hit a springboard dive. Suddenly, Kalisto wiped out Viktor on the outside with a suicide dive. Konnor then tried to drag Kalisto back into the ring, but Kalisto nailed an impressive-looking Salida Del Sol from the ring apron back into the ring. Kalisto pinned Konnor for the win.

WINNER: Kalisto at 7:01. Nice conclusion to the match to provide a visual of Kalisto topping a big-man before WM32.

– Superstars closed with a replay of Raw’s (unfortunate) main event of Dean Ambrose vs. Braun Strowman. They left in the “This is Boring” chants. The broadcast closed with footage of Ambrose destroying Strowman with a chair, then staring down Paul Heyman to close Raw.
