– Former WWE announcer Jim Ross opined on the Taker-Shane match at WM32 from the perspective of “knowing the participants as well as I do” in an interview with Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast.

“I know both of them very well, that they will do everything within their power to have an extraordinary match based on both their individual skill sets and their strengths and their weaknesses. So I have no issues with Shane McMahon coming out of the woodwork,” Ross said.

Sheamus continued his WrestleMania tradition of appearing on TBS’s “Conan” show on Thursday night, mainly to discuss his mohawk that fans found stupid when he debuted it after last year’s WrestleMania. (Video Clip from TeamCoco.com)

Ric Flair and Divas champion Charlotte talked to TMZ while in New York City for a Knicks game before WWE’s house show at MSG on Friday night. Flair talked about LeBron James being one of the biggest celebrity wrestling fans.

Sasha Banks talked about the goals for her Divas Title match with Charlotte and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. “We definitely want to steal the show,” Sasha told Scott Fishman for Channel Guide Magazine. “At the same time I just have to do me. And doing me is legit stealing the show – but I don’t want to put so much pressure on myself that I might pass out even before I go on the stage.

“I remember in Brooklyn for Takeover, I put so much pressure on myself that before I went out and was inside that car during the entrance, I was freaking out. Then the minute the door opened I was like, ‘Yes. I got this. This feels so right.’ I can’t imagine how WrestleMania is going to be. I’m going to be crying, just a mess. But I’m ready for it and so excited.”

– IC champion Kevin Owens talked to the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show 106.7 D.C. radio about drawing inspiration for the IC Title ladder match at WrestleMania.

“I watched a tape when I was eleven years old of WrestleMania XI and that’s what made me decide that I was going to be a wrestler and that I wanted to be a WWE superstar.  So to be apart of it this year and to have my first WrestleMania be the biggest one of all time, It’s obviously pretty special I’m really psyched, and I’m just gonna do everything I can to make sure that my part on the show stands out and that people are talking about me when the nights over,” Owens said.

The Young Bucks talked to Sports Illustrated about forming “The Elite” off-shoot of the Bullet Club with Kenny Omega after they turned on A.J. Styles when Styles left New Japan for WWE. The Bucks also hyped their financial standing compared to some guys on the WWE roster.

“You don’t need to make it with WWE to be a successful wrestler,” Nick told SI’s Justin Barrasso. “We’re trying to change that perception and prove otherwise. The last few years, we’ve done better financially than a lot of guys in the WWE. No one knows that, but it’s possible to make a living without them. It takes a lot of hustle, but it’s possible.”

– The latest installment of the Drax comic book series written by C.M. Punk is scheduled for release next Wednesday, March 30. ComicBook.com published a preview of Issue #5 of the series from Marvel Comics.
