Smackdown SPOILERS 4/7

Announcers: Mauro Ranallo, Byron Saxton, and Jerry Lawler.

WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns kicked off Smackdown getting over his new catchphrase: “I’m not a good guy, I’m not a bad guy, I’m The Guy.” A.J. Styles interrupted to set up their future WWE Title match at a time to be determined.

Tonight: WWE announced the main event of A.J. Styles & Cesaro vs. Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens.

(1) The Vaudevillains beat Lucha Dragons (U.S. champion Kalisto & Sin Cara) at 4:02 in their main roster debut.

(2) Natalya beat Summer Rae via submission at 2:53. Women’s champion Charlotte and Ric Flair were on commentary. Charlotte and Natalya had a post-match stare down.

Maryse introduced her husband, new IC champion The Miz, facing Zack Ryder in their title re-match from Raw.

(3) IC champion The Miz beat Zack Ryder at 9:40 to retain the Intercontinental Title. Maryse caused a distraction to help Miz retain.

(4) Apollo Crews beat Curtis Axel of the Social Outcasts at 2:36. Axel lost rock, paper, scissors to get the assignment.

(5) Dean Ambrose beat Tyler Breeze at 1:11. Rebound lariat and Dirty Deeds for the recovery win after losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

(6) A.J. Styles & Cesaro beat Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens at 12:04 in the main event. After Cesaro wiped out Jericho on the outside, it was down to Owens and Styles. Sami Zayn suddenly walked down to ringside surrounded by refs and agents. Zayn distracted Owens, allowing Styles to roll up Owens from behind for the win.

Zayn, who was sporting a taped elbow, got into a big ringside brawl with Owens. Owens got the upper hand. Smackdown may have ended here. The Dudleys then attacked Styles, who was left alone in the ring. Reigns made the save to clear the Dudleys. Reigns and Styles then teased a show of respect before finally shaking hands. Jericho came back around to insult them and took the Clash and spear for his troubles to end the taping.
