The interview segment changed up the formula of a “live via satellite” interview. This week, Coach sat down with Bubba Ray and Devon at Monday’s Raw in Hartford, Conn., near ESPN’s studios in Bristol.
The interview started with the Dudleys reminiscing about putting Coach through a table on WWE TV. Coach talked about their careers being defined by tables and the TLC match.
Bubba said they are proud of those matches, which included the famous TLC match at WrestleMania 17 in the Houston Astrodome. Bubba and Devon mentioned (current TNA wrestlers) Matt and Jeff Hardy along with Edge & Christian being an integral part of making those matches successful. The Dudleys stressed those matches being a showcase of brotherhood when everyone looked out for each other trying to have the best matches possible.
The discussion with Coach also included reflections on Chyna following her death. Devon said if you did not give Chyna respect in the ring, she would knock it out of you. Bubba said she fit the mold of the Attitude Era. They were sentimental about what she meant to them in the Attitude Era.
