New Japan wrestler added to Saturday’s ROH show, replacing Roderick Strong

New Japan wrestler Kamaitachi is heading to the U.S. for this weekend’s ROH show.

Kamaitachi will face A.C.H., who was originally scheduled to face Roderick Strong, Saturday night in West Warwick, R.I.

ROH announced that Strong has to miss Saturday’s show due to an “unforeseen personal matter.”

Kamaitachi re-joined New Japan earlier this year during the FantasticaMania Tour. The high-flyer is matching up with ROH’s top high-flyer in a compelling singles match on Saturday.

Saturday’s show is the final lead-in to the “Global Wars” PPV on May 8.

Saturday, April 30 Line-up – W. Warwick, R.I.

  • Main Event: The Briscoes vs. Motor City Machineguns vs. ReDragon in a three-team tag match
  • ROH World champion Jay Lethal (w/Taeler Hendrix) vs. Vinny Marseglia in a non-title championship challenge match

  • Kazarian vs. Moose (w/Stokely Hathaway)
  • Young Bucks vs. All Night Express
  • A.C.H. vs.Kamaitachi (replacing Roderick Strong)
