Big change to Friday’s PWG show – Sabre, Jr. off due to injury, replacement named

PWG announced Monday that Zack Sabre, Jr. has been pulled from Friday’s show in Reseda, California due to injury.

Sabre, Jr. was scheduled to defend the PWG Title against Michael Elgin, who will now face New Japan wrestler Kamaitachi.

Updated “PWG Prince” 5/20 Line-up

  • Michael Elgin vs. Kamaitachi (replacing Sabre, Jr. vs. Elgin for PWG Title)
  • TNA Hvt. champion Drew Galloway vs. Brian Cage
  • Frm. PWG champion Roderick Strong vs. Sami Callihan
  • Adam Cole vs. Dalton Castle
  • Trevor Lee vs. Andrew Everett
  • Chris Hero vs. debuting Jeff Cobb
  • Marty Scurll vs. Mark Andrews

“Prince” is the third show this year named after deceased musicians following “Lemmy” in January and “Bowie” in February.

  1. I guess the answer to “Who does one have to kill to get more PWG shows?” is “Any iconic musician.”
