SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Former TNA producer Jason Hervey of “The Wonder Years” fame reportedly served jail time for a DUI charge stemming from mis-use of a sleeping pill.

TMZ reports that Hervey was arrested on a DUI and weapon possession in January in Tennessee. Hervey then served 48 hours of jail time over the weekend, prompting the information to go public.

According to police, Hervey was found swerving across traffic, he failed a sobriety test, and there was a loaded handgun in his vehicle.

Hervey’s account is that he took one Ambien pill before making the ill-advised decision to drive his vehicle for a “quick errand.”

Hervey, who famously played the role of the roving TV interviewer/report on TNA Impact, left TNA in late 2014/early 2015.

Hervey was part of a lawsuit with business partner Eric Bischoff against TNA, claiming unpaid services.
