NOAH’s big June 12 show – Shiozaki vs. former WWE star for Hvt. Title, K.E.S.’s Tag Title re-match, plus Super J Cup update

Pro Wrestling NOAH held a press conference on Monday to announce several big items for their upcoming shows.

– New GHC Hvt. champion Go Shiozaki celebrated his first title reign in over four years. NOAH also made it official that Shiozaki will make his first title defense against former WWE star Shelton Benjamin on June 12 in Tokyo at Korakuen Hall.

Also, the Killer Elite Squad of Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith, Jr. will get their GHC Tag Title re-match against Naomichi Marufuji & Toru Yano on June 12. Yano talked at the press conference about using his goofiness to help Marufuji relax in his battles with the Suzuki-Gun stable.

Also, the GHC Jr. Hvt. Tag Titles will be on the line on June 12 in a three-team match featuring Daisuke Harada & Atsushi Kotoge vs. Gedo & Jado from New Japan vs. Taichi & Taka Michinoku. [ Full Line-up for June 12 via PuroresuSpirit.net ]

– NOAH also announced a tournament to determine who will represent NOAH in the Super J Cup, which begins July 20.
