SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

“WWE Network, just like Netflix!” was one of the original marketing slogans for WWE Network.

Now, WWE is following Netflix’s lead with a binge-release of the next season of their “Swerved” prankster show.

WWE announced Wednesday they are premiering all nine half-hour episodes from Season 2 of “Swerved” on Monday night, June 6.

WWE Network’s first binge-release of content will occur after Raw concludes on Monday night.

“Swerved, directed by Jeff Tremaine (Jackass, Bad Grandpa), is a half-hour series that combines the worlds of comedy and sports entertainment as WWE Superstars play hilarious pranks on the WWE Universe,” the description reads.

The list of wrestlers featured in each episode includes:

  • Episode 201: The Miz, New Day, Paige
  • Episode 202: Big Show, Becky Lynch & R-Truth
  • Episode 203: Seth Rollins & Randy Orton, New Day & Usos, R-Truth
  • Episode 204: Dean Ambrose & Renee Young, Usos, Lana & Alicia Fox, Stardust (Cody Rhodes)
  • Episode 205: Vince McMahon, Big E.
  • Episode 206: Summer Rae, The Miz & Dolph Ziggler, Charlotte & Ric Flair
  • Episode 207: A.J. Styles & Ryback, Social Outcasts, Dudleys
  • Episode 208: Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler & Paige, Tyler Breeze & Becky Lynch, Neville & Booker T
  • Episode 209: Season recap

The description of #205 notes that “Mr. McMahon goes deep undercover” as he continues to be part of WWE’s prankster shows on the Network.

Also, Episode #202 includes a bit where “a crazy fan invades the Performance Center,” which is odd since there actually was a fan who was shot trying to invade the Performance Center last year.
