Pre-show chants included “New Day Rocks!,” “Nakamura!,” “We Want Sandow,” and “Cody Rhodes.” On the Videotron, the crowd loved Seth Rollins and hates Roman Reigns, not surprisingly.

(1) No Way Jose beat Angelo Dawkins.

(2) Manny Andrade beat “The Drifter” Elias Samson via referee stoppage. Samson appeared to be hurt and the match was called off. Possible ankle injury.

(3) Tye Dillinger beat Tino Sabotelli. Slow match aided by Dillinger’s charisma.

Things picked up here…

(4) NXT tag champions American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) beat The Revival (Dash & Dawson) to retain the NXT Tag Titles. Excellent match. Some of the best tag team heel work from Revival that I’ve seen. There was a scary spot with Gable getting caught in the ropes by his ankle, but he seemed okay. (**** live)

(5) Shinsuke Nakamura beat Murphy. People lost their minds for the King of Strong Style. What a pop. Unreal seeing his entrance with awesome music live.

[Intermission. Jeremy Borash and Rebel from TNA were in the house.]

(6) Bayley & Carmella beat Daria B. & Peyton Royce. Royce was impressive as a heel. Fun match.

Man Event time with Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor for the NXT Title…

(7) NXT champion Samoa Joe beat Finn Balor to retain the NXT Title. Excellent match with Joe winning via surprise roll-up.

Joe went for a post-match beat down, but Balor fought back to send the crowd home happy.
