Former WWE star Cody Rhodes announced Thursday that he is heading to WWNLive’s EVOLVE Wrestling promotion.
Rhodes announced a date of August 19, which will be in Baltimore, Md. at the MCW Arena.
Update: WWNLive announced Friday details on Rhodes’s first post-WWE and independent match: “Rhodes has asked to wrestle a top talent. We are working out the details now and will have more info next week.” Rhodes will be available for pictures and autographs.
August 19 is also the start of Rhodes’s “List,” which kicks in when his 90-day no-compete clause expires after leaving WWE.
Rhodes is also scheduled to face Kurt Angle on August 27 in New York for the Northeast Wrestling promotion.
