Teddy Long returned to WWE TV trying to audition for the Smackdown GM role, but Stephanie McMahon shot him down.
(1) Cesaro beat Chris Jericho via submission at 12:02.
(2) U.S. champion Rusev (w/Lana) beat Jack Swagger via count-out at 3:37.
(3) The Vaudevillains (Simon Gotch & Aiden English) beat Big Cass & Enzo Amore via DQ at 2:23 when Cass snapped on English.
(4) Alberto Del Rio beat Sami Zayn at 8:20.
(5) Dean Ambrose beat Kevin Owens at 6:35.
(6) Tyler Breeze (w/Fandango) vs. R-Truth (w/Goldust) went to a No Contest at 0:54. Teddy Long tried to book a tag match, but he was escorted out of the building.
(7) The Club (A.J. Styles & Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) beat WWE tag champions New Day (Big E. & Kofi Kingston) at 5:10 in what was billed as a six-man tag match, but The Club took out Xavier Woods before the match.
John Cena made the save for New Day after the match to hype Cena-Styles at MITB.
WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins did not appear live on Raw. The WWE Title main-eventers at MITB were spotlighted in separate video packages.
