SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

High-flying ROH star A.C.H. missed out on New Japan’s “Best of the Super Juniors” tournament this year. But, he hopes to be part of upcoming tours as part of the working relationship between Ring of Honor and NJPW.

A.C.H. feels like he impressed New Japan officials at last month’s “War of the Worlds” tour mixing ROH and New Japan rosters.

“After my showings from a couple of weeks ago, I think some things could happen pretty soon (on working for New Japan). Things are looking up for me. I’m healthy and I’m making a lot of better decisions nowadays. So, I feel like something could happen pretty soon,” A.C.H. told Brian Fritz for Sporting News.

“My match with KUSHIDA was off the charts. I loved it. Not to take anything away from KUSHIDA but personally, my favorite match against any New Japan talent this year would have to be against (IWGP World Hvt. champion Tetsuya) Naito. That’s definitely one of my favorite matches which was in New York and happened about two weeks ago now.”

A.C.H. expressed contentment being in ROH, holding off on a potential jump to WWE.

“I usually just tell them of course I want to go to WWE but, right now, my heart and my love and my talent is with Ring of Honor and that ain’t changing for a very long time,” A.C.H. said.

“I’m having a really good time in Ring of Honor. I’m just having a really good time in life right now. You never know what could happen but as far as right now, all my heart and talent is with Ring of Honor and I’m going to do my best to make that company the best promotion in the world. It already is but I want to do more on a bigger scale than what it is now.”
