SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

The latest unboxing video for WrestleCrate.com features an unboxing of the May 2016 Ultimate Wrestle Crate.

There are two options when signing up that allow you to choose between a Standard or Ultimate crate.

– The Standard crate description states that you will get a t-shirt along with other items such as Mattel WWE Action Figures, Funko Pop Vinyl’s, Fateheads, and Topps trading cards each month

– The Ultimate crate description states that you will get even more wrestling goodness, including items such as WWE Elite Action Figures, WWE Battlepack Action Figures, and WWE Defining Moment Action Figures.

From what I’ve experienced from unboxing videos of past Ultimate crates, which start at $29.99 (plus $6 shipping), you will get a ton of value for your money. In each Ultimate crate there’s a figure, an exclusive t-shirt, a limited edition print, a Calling Spots magazine with an exclusive Wrestle Crate variant cover, an autographed photo, and overall more items than in the Standard crate.

FigureThe big hook for Wrestle Crate subscribers are the WWE Elite figures. This month there were fewer items in the box due to the money Wrestle Crate put out to insert the newest line of Mattel Elite figures in their Ultimate Crate. Currently these figures are hard to find, so right off the back subscribers got most of their money back right off the back with a current Mattel Elite figure.

I thought the rest of the May Wrestle Crate was fantastic. The Joey Ryan autographed picture was a great choice this month, as Ryan is one of the most popular indie wrestlers in the world and is also currently featured in Lucha Underground.

I also liked the “Fight Forever” shirt, which commemorates the incredible Nakamura vs. Zayn match from “NXT Takeover: Dallas.”

WWECardsFinally, the pack of Topps WWE Heritage trading cards were a very nice addition to the box. I loved the classic look of the cards. I got a Kane 1997 Rookie of the Year card, which was a hoot.

This month, Wrestle Crate delivered the best Ultimate crate that I have received to-date. The last couple of crates had featured a Funko Pop Vinyl, but this month a WWE Elite figure was included in the box. I really enjoyed the shirt this month as well, which tied perfectly into WM season bring back memories of an epic match from WM24.

None of the items inside were damaged and I would estimate that the items in the Ultimate crate easily are worth double the asking price. The WWE Elite Figure and shirt alone are worth the asking price, but the signed photo this month added a lot of value to the crate.
