WWE issued a press release Thursday officially announcing their big business venture into China.

Triple H was joined by John Cena in China to make the announcement. Plus, marketing executive Michelle Wilson, new VP for China business Jay Li, and executives from PPTV.

Former Houston Rockets star Yao Ming also attended the event to signal a “momentous occasion,” per Triple H.

“Today’s historic announcements further demonstrate WWE’s long-term commitment to China,” said Vince McMahon in the press release. “Partnerships with PPTV and Expo Group, as well as the signing of Bin Wang, will enable us to engage our fans in China like never before.”

As part of the new TV deal, Raw and Smackdown will be made available in Mandarin. Starting June 28, Raw and Smackdown will stream on PPTV through an on-demand delivery service.

The live event on September 10 completes an international tour scheduled for that week.
